Plenty windy here in York. P6 did a sterling job taking me back from work in horizontal rain and 60mph gusts.

Stay safe and above water all :)

Plenty gusty here in Hoyland, Sparky did well bringing me home from work.

Only ten miles but very wet, snow in the rain and nearly got blown off the Tinsley Viaduct

Ive been watching England get wet and blown away via the tele . Its rather serious what mother nature is doing at the moment .
Stay safe you lot up there

Hope all well over there! Finally calmed down here now in Cork, but what a day! We're the lucky ones though, power is back. I was up the top of the plant were working on earlier and the entire structure was flexing! Scary when 14" steels are moving. The city was in chaos, and I spent a lot of my trip home dragging debris out of my path. Wind and snow has now passed and its starting to freeze. Stay safe!

Scary windy here on the Fylde last night. We had one fence panel smashed, and my water butt fell off its plinth and then trundled around the garden flattening new bulb shoots like a Sherman tank until coming to rest in the shrubs. Lots of neighbours with missing ridge tiles and slates.

John.

my rover tried to undress itself from both ends, car cover wrapped around its waist!

Couple of huge trees down round here last night, all cleared away this morning must have been good quality firewood!

It didn't seem that bad in Nottingham and we haven't had that much rain either - the Trent hasn't burst it's banks into the country park near us yet.

You've got to feel for the guys with the flooding down south though. I've spent many a winter checking the river level before bedtime to see if we need to move stuff upstairs.

This weather is driving me nuts now, wet and windy and still waiting for my new folding garage so the rover is getting wet.

I've been watching the weather reports from the US. Spoke to my Dad in London and family down in Dorset, I'd take my 3-4 feet of snow over what you lot have had to deal with any day!

34°C here yesterday, and Brown Rover is still parked outside due to my slackness. Had to phone the wife from work and arrange for protective blankets to be placed over the poor thing - don't want the sun ruining my pristine interior.

it really wasnt, it looked like it had tried to get out of a dress by first lifting the bottom, and after realising that wasnt working tried from the top ending in a rucked up mess around the waist! clearly a "ten to two girl"

is your island now drifting to the mainland of Europe and becoming a "real" part of Europe or the Island is going to the other side or is it sinking
