Mike Maher, Chairman of the RSR, has contacted me this morning regarding the eagerly anticipated professional coverage of the joint RP6C/RSR Jubilee Rally Event that took place at Gaydon and Coughton Court over the weekend of the 28th-30th June this year.
Peter the cameraman, who could be seen milling around over the jubilee weekend, has now completed the editing of the film, which he has confirmed contains substantial P6 content. The footage covers all three days including:
- the Barbeque on the Friday night
- the full day at Gaydon, including the road tests, cars assembled and open museum.
- the full day at Coughton Court, which represented the most comprehensive gathering of Rovers since the 2004 Centenary event.
It is also covers the RSR Gala dinner, including James Taylor's talk on CKD production in New Zealand, providing a rare insight into a lesser-explored area of P6 history.
If you are interested in purchasing a copy (DVD @ £17, Blu-ray @ £23), please do let me know as a matter of urgency so we can order the right amount.

This represents the final major regalia item that the P6 club will be supplying to commemorate the Fiftieth Anniversary of the Rover P6.
