Master Cylinder Seals Kit

Hello

I have a rebuild kit in my stash and I can't work out if it is the right one for my car. I need a dual line 2000 export kit, and what I have says on the bag 55271 BHCC(P or F) "As SSE916". Anyone know what these part numbers might equate to? before I go and order a new rebuild kit. It would be a bit niggly if I order a new one, wait for it to get here, and then it's exactly the same! But then on the scale of Rover brake related niggle that would be a 2/10.

PS. It's two seals - large and smaller, an O ring and the plunger boot.

Thanks
Adrian

It sounds like a single circuit kit, and not suitable. The proper full kit should include a tipping valve (cone shaped bit of metal with a seal & a spring) though there are kits of just the seals and no tipping valve.

I've attached a pic of what i would expect for a proper kit (except for the screws, lockwashers and large square section rubber ring, the pic is of a Jag kit which had a different reservoir)Screen Shot 2022-01-04 at 10.42.11 AM.png
