Hi All,
After searching for a decent base unit to rebuild with the parts from P6 i am scrapping due to terminal base unit rot i have finally found one well that's not strictly as true a former member off the forum messaged me after seeing my wanted add. He wanted to sell his P6 3500 has he already has another restoration project and work commitments has no time to finish the P6. Having had a long conversation over the phone with the seller i knew this was exactly the car i was looking for and after he sent me many many pictures my mind was made up. The car was delivered early this morning 2am to be precise and to the annoyance of the neighbours  anyway the car is on my drive and i must say it is better than i could have ever imagined :D The doors are scrap due to the previous owners filling the drain channels with mastic so they rotted out which i was aware of the wings are very straight with minor surface rust due to the paint being polished away i think  The base unit is solid with much welding having been done and to a very high spec in fact i cannot see what is factory and what is not i have enclosed some pictures that don't do the car justice so you will just have to take my word for it so all in all i'm a very happy chappy :D:D
