Mystery part - where does it go ?

Hello, I'm in the final part of my project ( engine rebuild ).
The engine is back in the car and because I've lost all the pictures I've made previous to dismount,
I have a part with no idea where it goes.
I´m attaching a picture with the size.
The car is a 2000TC, 1976 for export and LHD.
Any idea ?
Thanks in advance

Because your car is LHD (which I have limited experience of) I think that might bolt to the top 2 bellhousing bolts and have either wiring or the clutch hydraulic pipe clipped into the plastic clips to hold it secure. RHD cars don't have that. Someone with a parts book will be along shortly to confirm/deny that.

Bolts to the 2 x top bell housing bolts and the battery lead clips into it. The one to the starter motor.

If that's the case on RHD cars as well, I don't ever remember it being there on all the hundreds of clutches I did but it must have been....

Of all the things I've ever lost, I miss my mind the most.......

My RHD 1973 2200sc auto has it fitted. My bet would be that most get launched when the bell housing gets removed.

Keep quiet, you nailed it in #2

Thanks everybody!!
I'm afraid that now with the engine in the car, its going to be difficult to fit.
Tomorrow I´ll have a look.
Thanks again ! Great forum ! Great people !
