I have the service manual, so the procedure seems straightforward enough. But I'm wondering if there are any known gotchas in this job, or anything I should prepare ahead of time that is not in the manual. I will order all the gaskets and seals that I'm likely to come across in the job and replace those. I hate working on exhausts and things usually go wrong so I will try to get new bolts and nuts as well.
Second question: I have a 2200SC engine in a '66 2000SC. It appears to me that I can get a 2200 manifold as a replacement and everything is fine. Is there a difference between that one and the one for the 2000?
Appreciate any shared expertise.
Cheers,
Karl
