Hi all.
For those of you who do not frequent facebook.
I have bought myself a new daily driver and retired my white P6V8 to weekend tinkering and show use.
It had been my faithfull daily driver for the last 15yrs.
It currently needs the rear brakes sorting as a caliper has sprung a leak,so its off the road for now.
I am also selling my blue 1969 Federal P6V8 Nada as my current health issues prevent me from continuing its full restoration.
Its UK road legal and drives great,so if you are interested in buying it message me.
I have gone for a more modern classic and bought a 78k mile carnival red and cream leather early 1997 Jaguar XK8.
I had one before in 2011 when I did a body resto on the white P6.
Took me a while of searching to find the correct car,and I hope I have made the right choice.
It has a few very minor niggles, but it is 18yrs old after all,and they are easily sorted.
The Jag gets my PLK 1E reg number and I will put my VBP 6B reg onto the Rover. 8)
I will still be as active on the forum and other media as my health allows, and with luck maybe up to sorting a display at Shepton Mallet in Feb if I can find some more local club cars to display.

Hi Pilkie,

I hope that 2016 is a better year all round for you, indeed I am sure that it will be

I am also sure that your Rover will enjoy retirement, laying back in the sun catching some rays. One thing is certain though, when the Jag needs a breather, your stunning white Rover will be back on duty with no fuss whatsoever.

Merry Christmas,
Ron.
