Hi all
Havent actually bought a p6 yet but hopefully loking to get one over the next few months.
Hopefully a v8 that needs minor work as have done some full rebuilds in the past on fords and dont really want to go down that road again.
Have been looking on at some of the great projects on here, some very nice cars out there.

Hi and welcome to the forums. You should find all the help you need here :p

Not a bad thing that you don't yet own a P6, as it gives you a chance to ask for what to look out for when viewing cars

Of course once you do make your purchase, pictures of the car are obligatory :D

Have already found the buyers guide so should be able to check the rot spots out the best i can as that will be my main concern.

Didnt even realise until a couple of weeks ago how many panels bolt on which is good in some respects but bad in others i guess.

Hi Stue . Welcome to the forum . Not too far away from you here in Bournemouth . Good luck with your search .
Why would you assume any "bad" points with bolt on panels ? The base unit is the structural strength of the car , the panels can be removed in minutes for access , maintenance , repair etc .
Happy hunting :D

Only bad point i was thinking is what could be lurking under a nice looking car.
Having said that makes it alot easier if there is.

Might very well take you up on that in the near future.

Be good to have a look at one before going to view any.

I will also be going to the practical classics restoration show in april so sure there be a few p6s there to look at.

Just missed out on this one as my son didnt realise i was after one :(

Hi again Stue
was that tc at braishfield in a yard full of triumph, s?
if so you missed nothing there! It was rather rusty
If you want to see a project tc then drop on over.
You, d find a few interesting things hiding here.
I did have a really nice v8 here but then the owner drove it home!
