Nice Beetle Project...

european stylistick addition and very rare so im told

..Errr it's had a Merc bonnet and lights grafted into the front end, I should say it's rare, can't see anybody else wanting to do that !

When I saw it in the listing I thought it was a mistake, until I saw the rear end.

It's only the bonnet and wings that have been altered, plus spare wheel nailed
on the engine cover. Having said that. Is an engine less, LHD beetle worth that
much money? Also you get a Merc grille to sell, which as far as I am concerned
is worth more than the car!

I like it!
well thats till I saw the rear end and sigh it still looks like a crappy VW beetle lolyou would have thunk they could have done an equally stylish rear end treatment.

AAAAhhhh UUMMMM Liepoo (I think that's his name stand to be corrected)and chop shop spring to mind........ On a bad day with out his styling vibes working

I like how the seller discribes it as "stylistic" and "very rare"

Stylistic.... NO.

Very rare, perhaps... I have no reason to dissagree.

"Too good to break"? That phrase shouldn't be used for ANY air-cooled VW, with the possible exception of the Karmann Ghia. As for this horror, with the 'stylistick' changes, and no engine, and the fact that the rest of it still looks like a bloody Beetle... I'd remove the Merc grille then weigh it in.

Good grief, that is hideous. It reminds me of a white Mini I used to see round Birmingham when I was a child with a Merc grille on it. That didn't look much better though.

And that is one reason why the world has counsellors and other mental therapists

My daughter does that for a living.

It's sad how many mental health issues are caused by people being abused and insulted in life. She is kept very busy.

I'm not a fan of this particular Beetle but I do actually like aircooled VW's, done many a happy mile in Beetle's and campers. I can't understand why anyone would associate VW ownership with mental health issues, Derek Bird had mental issues, Raoul Moat had mental issues, Thomas Hamilton had mental issues, Michael Ryan had mental issues, Ian Huntley had mental issues the list goes on, now I could be wrong here but I don't think any of those people were known to be driving a Beetle, or blamed their respective rampages on driving aircooled VW's, mostly they went postal because of people insulting or making fun of their mental health issues.
