No Hazard Lights

Not sure what to do about this. The switch operates but lights don't flash. However if the hazard switch is on it cuts out normal indicators. I have replaced both flasher units. Is there a fuse for hazard lamps. I am stumped as to what to try next. Anyone had similar problem. Thanks in advance.
Neil.

There is a separate fuse to the hazard flasher on some models, one being a inline, others not, depending on your exact model . The switch is very flimsy and also if not used can have corroded. You say you have changed both flasher units, there should be 12V ( possibly Brown wire with a trace or purple) to the hazard one with everything else off, check to see if that's the case & work from there.

Thanks for replies will have another look this weekend. They did work last year so I suspect corrosion somewhere. Will just need to check all connections. Or maybe the dreaded fuse box. Just put tester across fuse terminals but no power showing.

Hi, As said it's probably just the switch contacts corroded, try working the switch in and out a number of times and if you have any switch cleaner use that. Because the switch is so little used the contacts get dirty and it only needs the slightest of knocks or a single use to throw it out so a dirty part of the contacts are in use.
