Not enough cooling

As you have MS fitted - i'd say use that to trigger a fan via a relay. Its easy to do and allows you to set whatever temperature and hysteresis you like. Then you aren't introducing any more joins into the cooling system loop either. Looks more "factory" too.

You've kind of hit the nail on the head there mate :). The top hose didn't fit the new manifold take off as it came out at a different angle (pointing towards the O/S) so it stretched the hose. As it had already been cut to fit the revotec controller, I loosened them join at that point and with some carefiul manoevering, found a place where it did fit, and now its all in place without any strain. I could not have done this without a joiner to lengthen and twist the top hose slightly, so the fact that it does have EFI means the top hose needs to be a little longer and a slightly different shape. The Revotec controller was just handy in the respect.

I don't have a take off from the MS to fire a relay, and I am not sure how to do it anyway, so I'll have to leave it where it is :)
