Just a few pics of some British representatives at today's Mudgeeraba car show.

The last car is obviously not British...it Aussie...any of you British boys guess what it is?
I cant recall anything you might have that could be called roughly equivalent...so might be a mystery.

Jensen CV8, I like all the Jensens except the interceptors which remind me of a barge on wheels, in my mind the nicest looking was the model that Pilkie briefly owned, but i do love the interior of that one in your photo.

Graeme

Absolutely glorious, I could never understand why they wanted to make the Interceptor after that? what advantage did it bring other than ungainly lines, overhang, and flabby performance :?

Hi Brenten,

Lovely selection of cars, and that Humber is just gorgeous. My father had a Humber, so I have a real soft spot for them. The mystery car is instantly recognisable

Ron.

Well it had to be a ford from the 302 decal, so I guessed Falcon..but is it a special edition?
Looks like a Mach 1 mustang :D
Jim

Ford Falcon .
I'd say this one was before Max got hold of it
Edit , reading back through i see Jim pre guessed me :D

That Jaguar's an S-type, not a 240. My family has a white one with blue leather, it's a beautiful car, but it is very much a cat. It got driven out of its garage for a few days, decided it didn't like being ignored, and lost compression in all six cylinders at once. Hasn't run since.

Ford Falcon XA GT Hardtop. Is it a Superbird?

Correct!
GT had the 351...this is a 302, but it is a Superbird.
Pretty rare bird these days too.

I dont doubt you...I took it as a 240 as it had "240" on its right rear rump

My error...in detail there Harvey.
When I look at the pic...and blow it up...it does indeed have a "420" badge.
Im normally a bit of a stickler for detail on things, but in this instance I have reversed the numbers around.
Well spotted Harvey.

You can tell it's not a 240/340 because they're a Mk2 with the slim bumpers, and that has the S-Type rear end, but you can tell it's not an S-Type because the 420 has the sloping Mk10/420G front, which you can make out in the pic, as well as the raised clock in the centre of the soft top dash, which the S-Type doesn't have.

I had a M/OD 420. Nice cars.

I like the look of the Merc pickup (Or should I say "Ute"?) behind it as well.
