On eBay every few days!

Can anyone explain what the position is with this car (& the white & red ones, too)? is there a scam of some sort going on? They just pop up every few days.

ROVER P6 4800 - SERIES 1 CAR - 45K - MILES HUGE RECENT EXPENDITURE !! | eBay

They do look nice cars though....;)
His brother appears to have over 4,500 cars for sale ?

Quite bizarre

Literally thousands of hacked ads every couple of days.

Not sure what scam is or eBay vendetta ?

It makes armchair browsing a real chore !

Hi, It's hacked accounts, They use a scatter gun approach with multiple accounts with multiple items until the account holders tells ebay and they are deleted, they only need one to bite. Someone bites they try to get you to contact them using the details in the text and do the deal outside of ebay by sending the money first then they disappear. The details in the text doesn't get picked up by ebay's software because it's a jpeg.

:oops: I'm always amazed that some people think such activity is a valid way of 'making a living' but perhaps I'm just naiive (still so at my age...).

I bought a storage box at B&Q a while ago & said to the check-out lady that I couldn't find the barcode - she showed me that it was inside - so that anyone concealing goods in it would be rumbled.... I hadn't even though of that

Bar stewards more like. Why don’t they contribute to society like most of us do?

Because they live in third world countries, and believe that they can make millions this way. They also believe that it is a victimless crime, as many are under the impression that the banks will reimburse anyone who has lost money.
