P6 number plate

Only trouble with that is the fact that you won't be able to use it on a P6.........................

True - it could go on your other car with the sticker, 'My other car is a P6' :)

Fair point......................................(But I don't think I'll bother. )

I have "P6 2000" in New Zealand as they don't have age-related plates as in the UK..

Personalised plates used to have a little class but since the DVLA started selling them & people started using screwheads & distorted letters or numbers to try & make a word they've become totally passe'. I'd far rather spend the money on another car.

I agree

Especially the ones that look nothing like the owner's name but they obvioulsly think it's the bee's knee's

Saw a Range Rover in Staines this week - reg no - RR(Something) 55 NOB - altered to look like SNOB - I just thought "*rsehole" !

There are a couple of them running around Sheffield which have caught my eye.

Firstly I saw R8 GUD, which I thought was right good :)

And then there is R8 CNT which I thought was unfortunate :?

Right is pronounced 'Rate' around these 'ere parts.

So does this make me a, poser,snob,nob,show off,tart,cool dude,or a WA##*R ??
Couldnt find PLK 1E!!!
OR!!!
A canny investor with an eye for a bargain!!!
That will most likely hold its value, and possibly be worth much more, once its been seen on the circuit so to speak!!!

I have a plate which came with a company I bought.

It's a glue company and it has GLU on it, no suffix or prefix either.

It is apparently worth over £2,000. :)

Pilkie , Interesting article in this week's Classic Car Weekly about a power steering conversion for the TR6

I suppose the plate TR 6 would be worth thousands ?

PAS for the TR6 is an ideal conversion to go with a good autobox for those who need it in later life,or have a disability,or just want it easier to drive and still want to enjoy the 6.
Sadly as far as I know, the plate TR6 is no longer in use,so not possible to obtain!!
Would be worth a good few bob though!

Well, at least the connection between the plate & the car is blatantly obvious, unlike most of the obscure tripe out there. So I guess if you got it for a good price it would be the latter. Normally it just looks as though people are trying a bit too hard to make their blandmobiles stand out from the herd, while failing miserably.

I'm sticking with Tart

Sorry Dave only joking

I'll go with tart as well  just kidding

I'm going to change my name to James Trevor Watson, just so my number plate has my initials on it. 8)

Years ago my mate used to sell a few plates off cars & occasionally bought a car just for the plate & had some tasty numbers but he ended up with a Consul or Zodiphyr & the plate began with YNO & he thought he'd never sell the number but advertised it anyway & a Scandinavian gent called Norris Oysten turned up & bought it for his son also called Norris but of course he was Young Norris Oysten, how lucky was that? As a result he became known as Nathan the Plate, he should have joined the army then he could be Private Plate
