P6 V8 coolant expansion bottle

Hi
I know there has been a lot of discussion about this so I decided to go ahead and fit one. I've purchased an old mgb bottle but having trouble fitting it as there is so little space. I see from previous threads that some people have managed to fit a plastic see through bottle. Anyone got any ideas of the make of car that the small plastic ones come off.
 
Hi, The Brass tanks fitted on BL cars come in different configurations, the neck can be on the face, end or side they can be mounted upright on their end, side or horizontally with different brackets. So another type maybe easier to position. If you still want a plastic one them most modern cars have them, so a trip to a breakers yard and a wander round could find you another candidate.

The MGB type should fit easily enough just ahead of the brake servo. They are deceptive things. I was wondering exactly how it could work with the inlet pipe so high when I first got it. Obviously (now) there's an internal pipe to the bottom (d'oh).

Not my picture but from my collection... You mount it as high as possible.
