P6B auto to Manual questions

The guy offering it says its a 380, and has sent me pics, but I cant pick one from the other from the pics. He is a petrol head, so no dummy on these things. I have asked for a serial no. At least its a 2wd unit, which are very rare here now. Problem is the bellhousing now - he only has one from a Defender, which is too long. Now looking into pedal boxes etc.
thanks

Gear shift pattern is the easiest way to tell.
If reverse is left and forward then it's an LT77, if right and back, it's the R380

Auction is closed; bidders who met on the day started the “friends of...” site to buy/sell/trade stuff from that Auction on Facebook; if you join the group there’s been a few of the Rovers sold parted out and there was literally tons of parts snapped up that have been traded ( and given away ) on that Group

Care to point me at that site please - sounds well worth contacting for either a complete car or parts? Having trouble locating a suitable car in my area that is affordable.
thanks

It’s on Facebook; search: Friends of the Flynn Rover collection
Ask to join their group and once you’re a member you can post there
Dr Flynn appears to have hoovered up a high percentage of surviving Rover cars

LT77 Are very thin on the ground out here now, especially SD1 versions, or with bellhousing. Anybody know if the TR7 version (CLnnnnnX) primary pinion is same as SD1 ? Assume the ratios are the same.....
thanks

Further to this from Penguin "you might be interested to know the lt77 V8 clutch fork pivot pin is a different length to the other engines. " - my pivot is 50mm from base to top of ball. I have seen a thread here on this topic, but of course can no longer find it. Is this pivot correct for a V8 LT77 please? Box was reported as from a TR8, complete apart from throwout lever and bearing. Have the long steel throwout sleeve, reinforced lever.
thanks.

I think pivot now sorted! middle pin is 43mm, UKC13. The long one came from a TR7 box, 50mm; short one is 38.5mm , unknown what its from.
