P6ERS FROM THE CASE IS ALTERED 2015 OUTINGS & GET-TOGETHERS

Our next get-together at the Case is Altered is at 8pm on Tuesday 13 January. P6s and older Rovers welcome.

Location: About 15 minutes from the M1, M25 AND M40 The Case is Altered is on the B466 out of Pinner Green. Coming from Hatch End you follow the A404 Uxbridge Road to the traffic lights at Pinner Green. Turn left at these lights towards Pinner. After a couple of hundred yards turn right into West End Lane. After about 300 yards turn right into High View. At the end of High View turn left into Cuckoo Hill (B466) which becomes Eastcote High Road (B466). You will see the pub on your right about 2 minutes drive after turning into the B466. It is set back from the road immediately before Southill Lane. POSTCODE HA5 2EQ

Our next outing is confirmed for Sunday 22 February to Whitewebbs, Museum, Enfield (near M25, A1M for the Rover Sports Register icebreaker. A wonderful museum with excellent value food in the café.

Our next OUTING is confirmed for Sunday 22 February to Whitewebbs, Museum, Enfield (near M25, A1M for the Rover Sports Register icebreaker. A wonderful museum with excellent value food in the café.

Booking is open for event 1 (Icebreaker at Whitewebbs Museum), event 2 (Drive it Day Outing to the Royal Air Force Museum for P6s and older Rovers), event 3 (Donington Historic Racing- p6s only on our stand), events 4, 5, and 6 (Our stand for P6s only at the Enfield Pageant of Motoring days 1,2 and 3), event 7 Classics at the Met Police Sports Club at Bushey, event 11 (our stand for P6s only at the Uxbridge Autoshow) and event 12 our outings to the Silverstone Classic on 24-26 July. Details in outings lists in main outings posting.

The very popular Uxbridge Autoshow has limited places. I already have the tickets ready to send out so if you want to book early to ensure a place let me (ajcb) know by e-mail/pm as soon as possible and I will send you payment details etc by return of e-mail. I will hold your place on the list when I receive your e-mail as long as you let me have the payment ( £5 per car plus an A5 stamped addressed envelope) by the time detailed in my return payment instruction e-mail.

Numbers are also limited for our "drive it day" outing to The Royal Air Force Museum on Sunday 26 April and on our stand for each day of the 3 day Enfield Pageant of Motoring from 23-25 May so early booking is advisable if you want to guarantee a place.

You need to book the July Silverstone Classic by 31 March to get the best discounts from our package and will need your Rover P6 Club number and our special discount code to book. Full details including the code have been added to the detailed details. As you will see for security reasons you will need to enter your club membership number as well as our unique discount code when booking. Hi Tony, any pics of the action at the " case",I used to live in HA5 1TB 9 years ago there wasn't much rover interest then, what's happening now?

Booking is open for events 4, 5, and 6 (Our stand for P6s only at the Enfield Pageant of Motoring days 1,2 and 3), event 7 Classics at the Met Police Sports Club at Bushey, event 8 Luton Festival of Transport (Our shared stand is for SDIs, P6s and older Rovers), event 10 (Outing to Petworth Fete and Classic Car Show, West Sussex) event 11 (our stand for P6s only at the Uxbridge Auto Show), event 12 (our outings to the Silverstone Classic on 24-26 July), event 13 (Classics on the Green at Croxley Green, Hertfordshire), event 14 (Classics on the Common at Ley Hill, Buckinghamshire), event 15 (our outing to the Rover Drivers Guild Rover Day at the Buckingham Railway Centre where the P6s assemble outside nearby Porkys Café so we arrive together), and event 16 (our outing to Carters Steam Fair and Classic Car Show at Croxley Green, Hertfordshire). Dates and details of all these outings are in the outings lists.

Event 9 is a reminder to book for the bi annual Le Mans Classic which in 2016 is on 8-10 July 2016. If you are going to this in your P6 and want to be put in touch with others going please email me (ajcb) via the forum. We have one P6 from the Case is Altered going to France for this event.

Important Note: Event 15 - The Rover P4 Drivers Guild All Rover Rally at the Buckinghamshire Railway Centre is on Sunday 30 August and a section of it is now the Rover P6 Club National Rally so their should be many many P6s there . You are encouraged to bring autojumble/spares in your boot. The P6ers from the Case is Altered will meet as planned so we drive in together to join all the splendid Rovers and other P6s. The event commences from 10am.

:D :D :D REMINDER - BOOKING FOR OUR INFIELD STAND IN JULYAT THE SILVERSTONE CLASSIC AND FOR OUR STAND AT THE UXBRIDGE AUTOSHOW ALSO IN JULY CLOSED ON 31 MAY. If you want to go and have not booked you will now have to pay the full price to go as a member of the public or apply direct for an individual entry and walk over to our stand in the Club Stand Areas once there- :( :( :(

Our next OUTING is confirmed for Saturday 11 July to the wonderful Classic Car Rally - Petworth, Sussex. The Rally will be held from 10.00am at the “Petworth Fete in the Park”, Petworth House, Petworth, GU28 0AE . There will be no charge for entry to the park and there will be no charge for entry to the Rally. Entry to nearby Petworth House and Gardens will be free to National Trust members if you bring your membership card. The Fete in the Park, organised by the Petworth & District Community Association and the National Trust, was first held in 2006, and over the years has grown in popularity. Held in the glorious setting of Petworth Park, the fete is a real community event. There is something for all the family including a fairground, hog roast, musical bands, street theatre and craft stalls. Local groups have a variety of stalls to fundraise and promote what they do, and the whole event sponsors a local charity each year. Since 2010, the day has ended with a free concert in the evening and it is hoped this will take place again this year so you may wish to consider a later departure. The event has its own classic car display but we will be running ours in our own area in our usual style, so we will add an additional display/attraction. Several of us will meet at the Case is Altered between 7.50am and 8am and travel from there to Petworth stopping off at the Bacon Butty breakfast bar on the A283 at between approx. 9.20 and 9.50. The Bacon Butty is on the right after a sharp bend in the road 2 miles after Northchapel and 1 mile before Petworth. Email me, or pm me from the forum, if you want to join us at either the Case is Altered or the Bacon Butty. Final instructions will be emailed to attendees before the event. :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
