Petrol prices?

Cost of petrol falling in Canada. Selling for less than 80 cents a litre in Edmonton Alberta for lowest grade. Are fuel prices in UK coming down?

In Cape Town I am paying Euro 0.8377/l for ULP and LRP and I'd pay Euro 0.8323 for 93 Octane if I used it.
The highest I paid this year was E0.9719/l.

Premium here in NJ is $3.19 a US gallon. So that's $0.84/litre = 53p/lt

Please don't hate me.....

because the prices have fallen the tax percentage has already increased, as it's a flat rate of duty. (Upon which you then pay VAT for the double whammy)...

My concern is that the bar stewards only abandoned (suspended?) the fuel duty escalator because they feared an outcry as prices had increased so much already. Now that they've come down it seems a fair bet they will reintroduce it or something similar.

Stands to reason they are not going to tolerate a situation where we actually win for once.
