Prototype Seats.....?

Yes.. they're just not what Sheldon thinks they are.

And why bother copying them from facebook without any context? You'll only end up with the same types of comments from people who know nothing about them, until someone gets pissed off like me and has a rant.

Looks like early range rover style.

Thick back and integrated seat belt.

Too thick for a p6 even p5 seat backs aren't that thick.

Seen them before in an archive photograph, fitted to a 2000, dated around 1965, in the Rover engineering shop. Understand that they are know as Cox Safety Seats. Mr google can show you more!

The only context l had was Sheldon saying "prototype seats" & they look P6 anyway so l reckoned (correctly it seems) that no more was needed.
l don't really ask questions on faceache. I put them on here as you mostly get a better class of answer.

Not like any RR seat I have seen. My first RR had integrated belts, and I reckon they were great. Inertia reel buried inside the base, nothing to impede ingress/egress from the back in the 2 door model.
