Quick hose question

Hi -

Apologies for a v silly question - hoping this will be an easy answer though.

This is a P6 V8 (I'm told a '76 from the specific variation of carb (HIF6 part no's AUD521L and R)) that as you can see isn't in a P6 anymore. I'm an absolute novice when it comes to engines but I'm learning as fast as I can - there are a few oddities to this installation which I'm trying to iron out, and I'm hoping someone can answer them in seconds given the level of knowledge on here!

Can anyone tell me the following:

1) can you get replacement fuel fittings for the bit shown in the red circle (and the same on the other side)? If so do you know what thread it is? I'm tempted to replace the lot with nice new AN fittings but want to get it exactly right ... petrol makes me nervous!
2) all the photos I can find show this pipe going somewhere, but disappearing before I can figure out where that is! What is this supposed to be connected to in the P6 installation?
3) I'm pretty sure this is a super rookie question - what is this cable / hose? It goes from the N/S carb to the distributor.

Obviously anything else anyone can see that looks odd from here, please do feel free to laugh as long as you explain at the same time! ;)

Thanks in advance.

Can't tell you about the petrol hoses, but the tube to the distributor is for the vacuume advance unit. Take the cap off of the distributor then suck on the hose, you should see the base plate move.

The fitting circled in yellow is for a brake servo. It's can be fitted with a proper plug to make it look better.
The one circled in red would have a spill back pipe going to the tank on a P6. Those fittings (other than the one going back to the tank) are permanently fitted to the pipes, the see thru one from the filter having been bodged in the past.

Thanks both - very helpful! Harvey - not wanting to put stress on anything without knowing everything about it, I'm happy to chuck the lot, fittings, hose and all and replace it all - presumably they can be unscrewed from the carbs? That's the thread type and size I'm trying to find out. Then I can replace it all with new hose and fittings and forget about it for another 20 years.

The brass tubes for fuel into the carbs are just a push fit, do not disturb them or they can/will leak. The hose connections to these tubes are compression olives , so always use two spanners, one on the tube nut and the other on the hose connection when releasing them .
