Removal of the radio

Just short: How can I remove the original radio on my 1971 P6?

Remove the knobs to reveal the nuts that hold the radio to the mounting plate, then after those are removed the mounting plate should unclip from the console, allowing the radio to follow it out. There may be a mounting at the rear of the radio to remove, but mostly they don't get fitted.

You can get to the back of the radio if you take out the speaker, two screws hold in the grill.
