Routemaster vs. P6, no survivors...

Thought I'd take a couple of hours off from the world of classic Rovers yesterday and went down (via Southern Carbs, Wins and Mitchells paint in Burgess Hill) to see my cousin Victoria's current art exhibition in St. Leonards On Sea. Just when I thought I'd got away with it I end up chatting MG Maestros with the gallery owner, and lo and behold - what do I see on a flyer by the till....

Looks very nasty. To turn a Routemaster over you must be doing something very creative...

I quite aggree! Must have hit a big bump on the way to Shepherd's Bush to have landed in Paris.

Nope, the routemaster didn't fly any further than south Ken, however the Paris registered TC probably didn't had the chance to return home...

Good spot Nick!

The 'Wild Geese' film advertisement on the bus would date this at 1978. No chance of our French friend replacing that P6 with a brand new one then if it was a right-off (which looks probable!).
Love the beckoning finger too, just seen on the right of the picture. :)

Short shirt sleeves summer dresses, yes I guess Cliff could have been on a summer holiday

Or maybe Creasy or Agincourt, got to be an analogue in there somewhere a little bit balancing of the books
