To celebrate the Golden Anniversary, The Joint Rover Clubs will be hosting ROVERFEST on 11-13 August 2017 at Wroxall Abbey, Warwickshire. All Rover vehicles and all Rover V8 powered vehicles are invited to attend.
Would all non-JRC clubs please register your interest on the Roverfest website.

After this weekends marathon I intend to focus on sorting out Sleipnir's original engine ready for this very bash. Over the winter i want to dismantle the engine and get it back together in time. I took it out early in my ownership with knacked piston rings.

Our 3500S, VVC 700S will be there celebrating his 40th Birthday and the 40th anniversary of the end of production of Rover P6.
VVC 700S was born as the last P6 off the P6 Production lines on 19th March 1977 but not registered for the road until the 10th August 1977.

For those of you who have heard the malicious rumurs that VVC is now derelict, take no notice, because although he needs a new coat of paint which like all tail end production cars is peeling off, he is alot closer to road use than he is too derelict, with a new radiator, starter motor, rear brake calipers, battery, fuel pump and he is no longer on garaged insurance but instead is fully insured for the road.
VVC will be at the party.

I signed up for the newsletter, as there was no entry form available at the time. Haven't heard anything, but the entry form is now on the site.

All booked up and ready to go :)
