Rusted Fuel tank

Hi, I Have project ongoing and I checked My Fuel tank inside that's are totally rusted inside. Any tips how can try clean IT? Some Pages I noted guys use lemon acid? Alla tips are welcome
 
If it is totally rusted a problem is the rust will have thinned the metal and possibly produced pin holes in the tank.
I use critic acid to clean rusted parts but the residue needs scrubbed off the metal. That will be difficult inside a closed tank.

I'd be looking at rust converters, then tank internal sealers and internal coating products? I have no experience of these products, but I think that's where I'd start.

After about 2 years the modern fuel ate through the lining and caused me massive problems.
 
Just did Lemon acid process. Gill tank hot water+ 3 kg acid pulver. 24 hours on use. Very good clean result. After acid liquid rinse with water and hot Air blow.
