Rye, just now - who was that?

We were so surprised that we did not get the license number :
Who headed out of Rye at 11:30 in an Almond Mk II and waved through the windscreen?

LOVELY

The licence number was RNX 303M.

I thought it might be you. Hope your're enjoying your holiday.

As it happens, I was on my way to a motorhome dealer in Winchelsea (you will have passed it, right on the bend) looking for a van in which I plan to tour France and Germany.

Andy, splendid to hear from you!

Not everything went right, in fact, Heike got a bit ill two days before our departure - "sudden hearing loss" might be the right British denomination - which cost us quite a bit of time and effort to get cured.
But, since a few days she is alright, and we are HUGELY enjoying our stay :!: 8) :D

What part of Germany are you going to?

Rye is lovely, we have been there very often.
Are you also going to Hastings? That is nice too :D

Glad you're having a good time. Where have you been and where else are you planning to go?

I don't know Germany very well at all and don't have any firm plans as yet other than just to see more of the Country. I have been to the Black Forest a couple of times and to Berchtesgaden, and very much enjoyed the scenery. Also went once to Munchen Gladbach, though I was only there for around 30 minutes and did not leave the airport. I was hoping some friendly German P6 owner might be able to offer some suggestions (I'd insert one of those winking faces here if I knew how). Haven't actually found a van yet, so other than the occasional excursion into France with the P6 it's likely to be some months before I go anywhere.

Enjoy the rest of your stay and if there's anything I can help with while you're in the south east just ask.
