Seats

Yes you can take them apart, but you will need the pages from the owners WS manual to put them back together though.

I may be able to scan them if you wish (If I can find my manual :) )

Yes, it's easy and you don't really need a manual. You leave the tensioning lever and bar in place and remove the bar which joins the two parts together. You absolutely need the correct screwdriver to remove the screws as you'll chew the heads otherwise. The only tricky part is re-tensioning the torsion bar on reassembly.

Correct. Ideally these should be hex or torx heads but the chances of getting the right sizes are nill.

I know the Driver's and Passenger's seats can't be swapped over but I wonder if the bases can be? I have a good base squab from a passenger seat and good back from a drivers seat and need to make up a drivers seat!

Sorry, I was unclear and I think I've just muddied the waters. All the seat bases are handed and can't be swapped. The series 1 seat backs are not handed (I think) but the series 2 backs are handed.
