series 1 fuse box

hey all my fuse box has broken down on 1 of the terminals so i might be looking for 1 is any 1 got a spare going
 
hi is 2ooo sc and v8 series fuse box the same , do you know imbreacking a series one 2000 sc and i also have a fuse box out of a 2.2 tc series two if that fits

hi marcus i got 8 of the mk2 fuse boxes so i might use 1 of them and just cut it to size and use that yea i think the 2000 will fit the v8 how much would u be looking at for the series 1 fuse box gareth
 
Rover S1 fuse boxes are a std austin/morris/rover/jag/BL,etc item!!
Dead easy to obtain new via ebay or any classic parts dealers.
Not worth the risk of messing about with a butchered S2 unit,or buying a s/h item that could be faulty!
Relatively cheap too!!
 
arrr thanks for that pilkie i never knew that i will have a look on ebay now i was only thinking of using the mk2 box till i can get hold of the mk1 thanks

Get the right one for your car!!
Your box's cover should have a number on it!!
I think its a 4FJ,but if you want to add some fused extra,s you could fit a 7FJ!
If I have got the part no/type wrong,sure Harvey or someone will put it right!
 
Hi hope you get it sorted if not let me know i dont charge for bits like that as i would normally just bin them

hey all well i looked at my parts book and found the part number and found 1 on ebay with the same part number cost me £10 including p&p so i think that good
 
well i got my new fuse box got it off ebay and is the right 1 and cost me including p&p £10 so i think that is very good
