Can anyone advise if the P6 was ever fitted with Hazard flashers for US market with a Lucas flick switch as opposed to the later push/pull type on S2, if so has anyone the part number? Thanks

My German market 2000 TC came with such a such a Hazard switch, although i don't think that i can locate any part number.

Yes, NADA cars came that way.

The switch is 559235, escutcheon 563364, warning light 559234, escutcheon 563365.

Harness for the whole thing is 559238, the flasher is 563361 and the insulation plate for the flasher is 565881.

Not really. That's my handy "Parts Catalogue Supplement covering 2000TC & Automatic models to US Federal Standard 515", part no 605496.

As far as I know, it's Rover's only paper catalogue listing the unique NADA bits on the late 68 through 69 models.

Thanks Vern, just what I was expecting. A Land Rover club member is trying to track a switch down as 559235 was also used on NADA spec Land Rovers and I suspected it was a P6 part by the look of it.

very small batch production does that. That and making a car right for Pebble Beach wins adds huge value to the car. (I make some of the stuff for them - yes, I know I’m showing off :p )
I'll take an Irvin pin badge to go on my Irvin flying jacket please :):)
