Today was a good day !
Following a fraught few days trying to sort out a waterpump that decided it did not want to play anymore right before my track day, today more than delivered.

The car ran so well. At one point I was circulating for several laps with a hot Healey 3000, A Stratos replica, and one of our works DBR1 recreations, not bad for a loafy old sedan !

Round and round pics might follow, but here are some others.....

I would very much like to come to the next such get together, and perhaps even slot in behind No. 27 and try to keep up! Nice pics of some nice cars. Is the pale yellow MG B a V8?

I did not encounter the 'B' other than at the distance above. The usual mix of very interesting machinery was diluted by a gaggle of track day hatches and cheap MX5 s The resulting melee was a bit concerning at times as the driving standard had definitely slipped, I think folks saw this as their one and only go at it for the year and went hell for leather.
I have put forward a suggestion to form separate groups to allow the ones with throw away cars to rub paint if they so wish.

I’m surprised they didn’t have classes for the sessions, it would be shame for that lovely machinery to be damaged by a hopped up Vauxhall Corsa.

BTW 27 looks fantastic, did anyone get video of you on the track?
