I suspect this is in the wrong area of the forum?
What do you mean by 'track' - race it on a track, or do a wheel alignment?
If wheel alignment, look up 'stringing a car' on the web. Basically, with the steering straight ahead, rolled back and forth a bit, you mount a string on each side, mounted on something (stands?) at wheel centre height , strings parallel - allowing for track difference (front is wider than rear by 1-5/8", at least on a v8). measure distance from string to a consistent point on wheel rims close to tyre in front of axle and behind - the rears should be very close to equal . On the front wheels, the difference between the measurement in front of the axle to that behind the axle is the toe in (front < rear) or toe out (front > rear). Should be around 1/8". Good luck with adjusting it ....If this is not what you want, apologies. A proper wheel alignment shop will have special gear that will also tell you camber and castor, but 99% wont have a clue on how to adjust toe. Excessive caster will give you heavy steering, too little will have no self centering - VERY obvious and disconcerting. Bad camber will just wear your tyres out faster than usual - spec is 0 +/- 1d.
