saw video clip from surrey police.shows Ford escort mexico mk1 being stolen from a showroom . 2 /3 guys using a landrover who seemed to know about the cameras in showroom tow it away. hopefully its serial numbers etc are logged and sooner or later it will get found. too much of this going on . likely get a false identity or be broken for parts ( less likely)
 
Hi, I'm guessing this is to be broken for bits, The engine is a TVR 5 litre V8 which makes the car
to unusual as it is to remain complete.

i bet that its been broken up and if there where no mods to shell it may still be out there as mk1s only had the plate under bonnett but in all if someone wants your car thay will get it no matter what to much skum out there hope it shows up for you good luck

I would say that is unlikely seeing as it was built as a race car not a rally car.

seam welded shells can be used in either, I know a lot of stolen ford parts go to Ireland as when my Cosworth was stolen I was shocked with what I found out but lets hope the car gets a safe return
 
Two thoughts from the video:

1) Why did they blur the thief's faces out? Are they worried about their privacy?
2) They clipped the 911 on the way out with the Escort. So they've already damaged the shell.
