Supplier leather seats?

Hi, JR Wadhams and Wins will do them but obviously this work is contracted out and isn't "off the shelf", there just isn't a big enough market for it like there is for Minis, Morris Minors, MGBs etc. You may as well find a local specialist to do it. I have no experience of the quality of each either.

Modern leather has a stamped grain and is nothing like what you see in P6 originally. Natural grained leather is more expensive. You need to do a bit or research before committing this kind of money. Usually £2k-£2.5k for a complete car. It seems unfortunately to be impossible to match some colours very well. I've never seen unoriginal Buckskin leather and particularly the vinyl which looks totally convincing. Don't get me wrong, some retrimmed cars are definitely better than factory, but not if that's important to you original.

What I found was you can find the original style leather, some searching, but the vinyl will need to be dyed to match. This is not a big deal for a good trim shop.

If you can match the way Ambla patinates withthe "dirty" grain then I'd be amazed . Of course you can match the color with dyes. That's part of the story. I'll still be easy to tell any interior which has been redone.

Again, it depends on whether this is actually important to you.
