Had a trip up to the smoke today and wanted to visit a few locations where 'The Sweeney' TV seies was filmed. Here are the pictures:
This is Colet Gardens, Hammersmith, London. The same street that was used to film the opening titles of The Sweeney.
Parked in Colet Gardens, Hamersmith, London. The building on the other side of the road is Colet Court which was where many episodes of The Sweeney were filmed.
Colet Court was used to film the TV series 'The Sweeney' Inside would have been The Squad's office, interview rooms and prison cells.
Myriad Antiques, Portland Road, Notting Hill. Regan and Carter stop by at this Antique shop in the episode called 'Nightmare'.
The building here in Portland Road can be seen in the episode 'Nightmare'. It also appears a number of times in 'Minder' as 'The Winchester Club' was in this road.
Another shot in Portland Road, Notting Hill.
The Warrington Hotel in Maida Vale featured in The Sweeney episode 'Night Out'.
Another shot of The Warrington. Went inside for a drink and seemed a nice pub.
It was an enjoyable day out and I got a fair bit of interest from passers by. One said he used to own an ex Police V8!
Cheers!
