Thanks Marcus! Added a new bit on the member's projects post. Just the rear end and brakes to fit, bleed the system and I think I'll be on the road! This weekend took longer than expected to get things done, but I'm happy with the results so far.
You will eventually get used to it. Nowadays it's only when I have a passenger that I am reminded how much attention my Rovers get from pedestrians and other road users.
I have a feeling the missus will notice more than me .
In other important news we have settled on a name for the car. She shall now be referred to as as 'Beryl". Kim came up with the name (previsously mentioned missus). Apparently Beryl isn't just a girl's name but also a semi precious light blue stone. Rather fitting considering she's Zircon Blue.
I'm constantly amazed at how many P6s seem to survive Stateside. Looks really nice. Word of warning: be wary of Almond owners praising your non-Almond car's colour. It's almost always a backhanded compliment.
Thanks Fischer, we are lucky in where we live. It's a nice part of New Jersey outside of New York City. I'm very happy with the car. Hopefully I will be able to get it rolling by the end of the week.
