Torque converters

Hi every body , would like to now your opinion on this tho torque converters. The one with wat I presume are cooling fans welded on was installed on a B&W 35 . The other was installed in a B&W 65 . The choold be the same models as Harvey said. In witch I have no doubt. But I need to overhaul one because the one that came out of the B&W 65 is failing. So if I had tho choose between the two models witch one wood you take to the repair chop . It will go back to the B&W 65 because we did a gearbox swap . Wat are your thoughts en why would you choose one of the tho . Thanks for your thoughts en comments. Hope my English is getting better. Cheers every body. Kind regards Marc.

The one with the cooling shroud is for early BW35 with the vent holes in the bellhousing. That type was never fitted to the BW65 as standard, but they do fit inside a Jag BW65 bellhousing, as there was one in there on a Jag BW65 box I dismantled last week. The one without the shroud is later BW35, but will fit and work in the BW65 as well, and that's the one I would get reconditioned.

A friend of mine is looking at putting a BW65 box on his 1970 3500 instead of the BW35. From the above, presumably his existing torque convertor will still fit correctly?
