Hi all.

I attended the Wheelnuts Classic car show at St Roses school in Stroud Gloucestershire with the MGTF1500 today.
An annual show I attend every year as its for a good cause.
The MG attracted lots of admiring onlookers,with a possible couple interested in buying it.
Had plenty of kids sitting in it having their pics taken by mum and dad.
Some onlookers couldnt believe I was letting them,or anyone for that matter sit in it! :roll:
There were some really nice, TR's4,5,6's, MGB's, MGA's,MGT'types,E-types,USA muscle sports,Daimler Darts,,,in fact all sorts!!
And to end the day on a high,I was really chuffed,as it was awarded, Best sports car in show! :D :D

She looks great Dave :D :D and I think you should be applauded for letting the kids sit in there too, it is too easy sometimes to adopt the 'Look but do not touch' attitude, but if you show the right attitude, it might encourage them to become the next generation of classic car owners.
Congratulations on the award too, but, to be honest, I don't think it would come as a surprise to the many who have watched your restoration.

The car looks great and it (and its owner) deserve full credit. Did the judges pass any comment on the non-standard engine?
 
Looks Fab, and well deserved Dave! And I totally agree, the don't touch thing has always annoyed me. how are we meant to get younger folks interested in classics if we keep them away?

After 3 weeks of advertising in many places,not one phone call or Email!
MGOC have looked at it and said its great and priced about right!
Obviously there is no spare money about,even from those with plenty of it!!
One problem being cars on the american market are cheap as dollar and euro exchange rates are acting against it at the moment! :(
