Vinyl roof cleaner/preserver?

The black vinyl roof on my P6 is in good condition but I want to keep it that way.
When I wax the car, what product should I use on the roof that will keep it looking good but also protect it? Any suggestions?

Auto Glym do a vinyl and rubber care spray product which simply wipes on. I use it on mine and it's commonly available from Halfords and the like and seems to produce good results.

There are plenty of folk who use boot polish for a similar effect. I'm sure there are countless other suggestions too

I'm with Johnny E autoglym best I've used.spray it on soft wipe over leave to dry then buff up if you want it shiny. Good stuff lasts a while too.

I use Autoglym and it's brilliant. Tried boot polish once and it worked very well but took all day, and made my arm ache!!

Auto Glym is probably one of the best around for their price range. I use them all the time. That includes Wash shampoo, polish, leather/vinyl/upholstery cleaner and wheel cleaner. Good price for a very good product.

I gave mine a good scrub to get all the grime off it and used the Auto Glym it gives it a nice shine and a waxy feel to it that hopefully keeps the dirt out the grain .

I have used Renovo products on both canvas and vinyl convertible hoods, so I don't see why the vinyl cleaner wouldn't be good on a fixed vinyl roof? It is brilliant and you only need a tiny bit for each clean. Wet the roof and then brush on with a large paint brush. A little light scrubbing with a soft scrubbing brush and hose off. Brilliant!! It says to test a small area first though, but I am not sure how you can find an area that doesn't show on a vinyl roof! 1677664575783.png

I suppose it would be possible to test whichever cleaning/dressing product on the small leading edge of the vinyl covered rear pillar that is not visible when the back door is closed.
