VSCCA fall tour

I belong to the vintage sports at club of America. Today we had a fall tour up the Hudson Valley in upstate New York. Our Rover was the only four door on the event, but I’m pleased to report she kept up with Alfas, Porsche and MGs on the twisty bits. 350 miles round trip and she felt great at the end of it. Rebuilt carbs, and the minor rebuild this summer made it all worth while.

Not only that, but i bet that at the end of the day you should have felt significantly less worn out than the drivers of the other cars. :D

So far it’s been the one good autumn day here in thee NJ/NY area. We got really lucky. Only one had to pull out. A beautiful Riley Imp, with a slipping preselecter band.
