Welcome to the forum of the future.... again....

Rich, I notice that profile avatars don't seem to accept Gifs, they display but don't animate.
Is that bad?
OK I've already admitted that I'm not a fan of avatars, but moving, flashing, gyrating avatars that distract you from the text you're trying to read have a special place reserved for them in Hell!

Now for the whinging :p

The signing in boxes are black when selected so I can't see if I'm typing or my computer has frozen again, the dropdown menu for user/inbox/alerts has a clear background so it's difficult to distinguish between the menu and the forum background stuff and could you replace the word "reply" with "quote", I wasn't sure whether to expect sub-replies to specific posts or the traditional forum quote/reply at the bottom of the thread! Also when quoting a quoted post, the quote in the quote disappears, I understand this can be irritating for many, just a little odd when I have to edit the quoted portion of the reply to read meaningfully in my reply!

Other than that no more complaints to raise :D

Every time I post in a thread, when I go back to the board I cant see it, its gone !!..........................????????????????

God no. Not the return of GIFs. I have noticed GIFs are becoming a bit more poplar since Facebook brought them back. Anyone remember Geocities? Haha

Rich, also have noticed that the forum pages are " Mobile friendly " which is very nice for those that like it however I much prefer the full desktop experience on my mobile, is there an option available that allows mobile users to switch between the 2 viewing platforms? I note many sites give a click on option at the bottom of the page to switch between the 2.

The reason for this is that this software uses "responsive" design - in other words whatever size/resolution your screen it should display correctly - which is quite different to having a "desktop" version and a "mobile" - so that function to switch between the two becomes redundant because there are no two defined versions as such. It can sometimes be implemented though.

You can tell your mobile to ask for the desktop version in the browser settings...

As Alex correctly says the page is identical between mobile and desktop and it's just a layout change based on device type and resolution.

Hi. I have noticed something. I do quite a lot of Google searches for inspiration and the CRF comes up quite a bit - but it seem,s that there is no forwarding set for the old links? That really could do with fixing - not only does it mean that people coming across the forum from Google will hit a dead link, but it is very bad for SEO.
