Drawings to fabricate thrust collar for diff output shaft.
Note: ID accuracy is important. Rover workshop manual states you must use at least 2 tons of pressure to press collar onto shaft. Lower forces could result in collar releasing under cornering loads.
As a side note, getting the old collar off is hard work. I ended up turning it off on the lathe. Any lathe with a 10” throw and a three jaw chuck works, keep spindle speed down as the mounting bracket for the caliper will be free swinging between the jaws.
