Demisters - Range Rover

Just aquired a 1972 Range Rover chassis running gear with V8 3.9 with a lightweight body made to fit, windscreen demister struggles to clear windscreen....any advice welcome.
 
This belongs with "I changed the oil, now it wont start! What could be wrong?"
On so little information it is an uphill battle to offer any sensible advice. Assuming there is a heater, is it getting hot water? Are its flaps working? Do you know how to set it to demist?
 
I suspect it has the lightweight heater , assuming it has one at all, and the performance is not what I would call good by modern standards
 
Aha, I didnt twig that by lightweight he meant an AirPortable body. Not that that helps at all.
I had one in Saudi once.
