Lucas Square 8's Bracket Position

Hey guys,

The L shaped bracket for Lucas Square 8's, should the leg point forward or backwards?

I fitted mine with the leg facing forward but I'm now thinking it should be the other way so they would be a little more recessed?

Hi Stef. Yes they seem also quite low with big gap between bumper and top of Lucas 8. I used Wadhams brackets - some pics to show that position is uniform on my and other P6s.

Thanks for the info and photo's, definitely quite a difference. I'll take them off when I get a chance (I need to remove the bumper to clean up and polish the paint on the front valence) and have a play around again to get the best fit.

I know non V8 and V8 bumper brackets different so this will have a bearing on the type of Lucas 8 brackets I guess..?? Others will know more than I on this I am not as familiar with non V8 front end.
