What lubracant should use for a nervous speedo? Also should the angle gear be lubricated? Thanks in adavance? Larry

No lubricant in the speedo head. It's probably the cable needing it, remove the inner clean and re-lubricate with a light Lithium grease, don't put too much at the top otherwise it could end up in the head. Also the angle drive.

I always wipe the top 6 inches of the cable free of all the grease .There will be plenty on the inner as you thread cable back in.

I normally use graphite grease. I must admit I have never been too fussy about having the speedo drive end of the cable free of lubricant.
