Rover P5 6 cilinder as daily car.

Hi there all.

I have a rover P6 3500S and work on this one, a lot of work most technical.

I want to buy a extra one, and I think a rover P5 is a nice car for daily drive,
I do drive little, almost never above 5000 km year, so that rover engine spins as
a cat. Guy,s here like foto,s so here these are, and let me now, special about rust what I do
also see, but for 3500 euro,s I think this one is not expensive.

If I have this with the other rover, I am a real englishman in holland.

So please tell me, if it is worth the effort, I need to get it ride quick, so breaks need
to be working for that. But the BW35 automatic (if it is a BW35) do slip, and not
drive, bad box or adjustments.

Thanks.

Unless it's a MK3 it's not a bw35.
Or at least it shouldn't be.....

BW35. = PRNDL

I do not now what it is, the car is I think from 1962 or 1964.

But I can ask.

Now it is important to now what kind of rust? I see rust on someo of the wings sides.
I do not now if wings can de removed like a p6.

The BW35 can be mounted? the seller has one for free from a 6 cilinder, but maybe I need more.

The car do drive, but slips, maybe a band adjustment is all what is needed, oil in box is fine.

I ask tomorrow if it is PRNDL, and how bad is a DG box really?

I need the P5 do ride, and not a project because otherwise I have to much to do but car is not
bad, it drives and has breaks. and engine is good.
