Greetings all! I have a 1972 P6 3500 automatic. The fuel pump was recently rebuilt and functions fine. However, there is engine oil leaking fairly heavily from the pump itself. After cleaning and examination, the leak appears to be emanating from the metal dowel that acts as a fulcrum for the fuel pump arm. The attachment to the engine block is dry. There is no fuel mixed with the oil. Before pulling the pump, I was wondering if anyone has had a similar problem, and, if so, what his remedy had been.
Thanks in advance for any input.
