Hei du! Uff da, leit med Buick'en, ja...
Jeg har en eldre PDF om det, men hvis du har en lenke kan jeg sikkert plukke den opp. Eller du kan prøve på Messenger?
Ron, I have done something to the whole forum display - it only occupies 1/3 of the screen, in the centre. How do I get back to normal please? All the text is tiny...?
thanks

i cant get it warm because it refuses to start at all, and yes the throttle was wide open, i have tried timing and everything else i have read about but it is as stubborn as ever,
i have now sent it back to the shed that it came from and swapped it for a "76 3500 auto and i might come back to it sometime in the future.

I wouldn’t say that 110psi is low enough to stop it starting. I’m guessing you’ve checked fueling and spark? Might be worth static timing for the ignition. Also, check spark plug gaps.

One thing to also check, try a drop of oil in each cylinder, if you’ve turned over the engine a lot without firing you might have washed the oil off the cylinder walls.

yep i have checked fuel and spark, plug gaps might be a problem, and yes there was oil in the cylinders during compression testing and my starting attempts.
as i said before i have swapped it for a blue 3500 in my other shed and may come back to this 2000 sometime in the future.
