    Thank you

There's something about a slab side Cobra that's so much more elegant than the later versions. BEAUTIFUL!!

    BW66 cooler options

Took the switch off - I can't tell if these are some type of female connector or just missing the tangs....might have to open it up.....?

    BW66 cooler options

So mine might not be missing spades, but not have them at all? How does it connect to the wiring? REALLY should have thought of this before I put the box in lmao....

Hi guys, long time no see.....

Yeah thanks for that - I wasn't sure if it was going to be allowable so thankyou for creating space. I just thought I'd pop up my head as I genuinely missed this forum, but the Corty is my only Rover....ish..... car I have since selling the P6B. Still appreciate the advice, too!

Hi guys, long time no see.....

Cheers mate. Yep it's a block off plate I made. I'm using a Davies Craig 150 electric water pump. I had hoped to fit a rad from another make model (trying to limit having custom bits made, and also trying to cut as little as possible out of the car) but there was just no room. I've had to cut a...

    BW66 cooler options

Howdy! I've got a BW66 mated to a 3.5. I'm going to run a cooler (no cooler in the rad). Are flexible lines ok or should I make hard-lines? If hard-lines what material is best? If hard-lines what fitting is used to the box - at the moment there's just barb fittings with a hose joining the two...

Hi guys, long time no see.....

Hey gang, Long time no see. Thought I'd just post an update as it's finally starting to look like a car. Slow progress is still progress. The engine is a 1985 3.5 that I've had running on a test stand after a 15 year hibernation. Car is originally a 3spd column auto, so I have a BW 66 in there...

Are there any aftermarket overdrives for a BW 65/66?

Sorry I didn't reply earlier. I've got a fresh Toyota axle in there, so I'm not keen on changing the rear end.

Are there any aftermarket overdrives for a BW 65/66?

Cheers - no prices unfortunately (means expensive!) and I can't see myself tripping across one at the next swap meet...

    Torque converter to flexplate spacing.

Hi guru's - quick question this time. With the RV8 and BW65 auto is there any spacing required between the flexplate and converter? I had always assumed they were directly bolted to each other. No diagrams on the interwebs indicate spacers, but just checking before I do something expensive...

    Cheers guys - It's a Toyota LN25 axl though.

Are there any aftermarket overdrives for a BW 65/66?

After the work and $$ I've spent on the rear axle it's staying lol. Not a huge deal - car is a cruiser but at 3.58 it'll be a NOISY cruiser!

Are there any aftermarket overdrives for a BW 65/66?

Howdy, Just curious if there ever was/is an overdrive option for the v8 BW like the MG's had? I'm running 3.58 rear and that's the tallest ratio I can get for my diff.

What to check on a points distributor?

Are all the rotors and caps interchangeable between points and electronic dizzies, or are there small differences to watch out for?

What to check on a points distributor?

Hi gurus, I have a v8 points distributor I'd like to use but I'm not confident it's ok. What should I check and how to see if it's serviceable?

    So I have a 4.6 and a cam....will they like each other?

Short story long, I'm putting a 3.5 into my Mk2 Cortina. I've been keeping an eye out for a cheap 4.6 (for later, the 3.5 has to go in for the car to be certified as I'm only 'supposed' to go to 3.7L max capacity) and I managed to get one at price I couldn't resist. Before I got assurances from...

Hi groovers, What size/thread/strength bolt do I need to bolt the torque converter to the flexplate? Cheers, Rob.
