Hi all,

I believe there is a supply issue with the part - Oil Pump Cover/Remote Take-Off - RO1105 Oil Pump Cover/Remote Take-Off - RO1105 | Rimmer Bros and was wondering whether I couldn’t use the alternate -

Oil Pump Cover Assembly With Take Off - BHH998 Oil Pump Cover Assembly With Take Off - BHH998 | Rimmer Bros ? I am fitting it to a 1980 Rover SD1 3.5 V8.

The BHH998 is listed for pre-76 models, so its not appropriate for an 80 model, with longer pump gears.

The early filter housing can be used with the later cover with the taller pump gears, but you have to use the early filter.
