My P6 has P/S and A/c ex factory. Ive upgraded the rear springs a few years back as she was sitting lower on the drivers side by 25mm. Ive never touched the fronts as everything appears hunky dory up there.PAS cars had longer, not stiffer front springs. I'm assuming pretty much all AC cars had PAS.
They shimmed the front springs on AC cars to correct ride height.I thought I read somewhere that the fronts were beefed to cope with the weight of the a/c ?
Harvey might know, either way I'm covered
On my NADA only 1 shim extra on the front and only on the N / S as this is the drivers side and A / C compressor on the N /SThey shimmed the front springs on AC cars to correct ride height.
Mine only had one extra on the left hand side. Weird.Clive has it correct. Oddly enough though, for the TCs the spring shim is listed as 6 required.
