Especially the chunky NADA mount that’s horribly stodgy in my view, so I got the holes filled when the bumper was rechromed. So its not going back on.
The 215 engined Special is quite rare,
Not going to see these parking lot buds together every day.....or indeed basically ever. If I had space I would buy it (the Special); a great Rovernerd collection piece in my view.
Hi
I should clarify that I no longer have the AC bracket in place so need the non AC rod.
I re-read my own post and even I didn’t quite know what I meant……
Hello
I am looking for the complete assembly although I do have the rubber parts. I originally had the AC accessory bracket which included the stabilizer of a different setup but now I got rid of that, I just need the regular bits. It’s for NADA V8 but I don’t suppose that’s a challenge except...

Bummer I have two already and not quite ready to have one as a daily driver although with 9 grand you can't buy much in terms of a daily so would not be super ridiculous idea......
Okay so the servo is dry. Took the opportunity to repaint it (again). And sprayed rubberized undercoating on the inner wing for the inevitable fluid dribbling destroying my spray paint finish (again). But with dry caliper covers and dry servo, and not a solitary drip on garage floor the...
Hello. I had seemingly the same issue, immediately after I sent my dual line MC for rebuild. When I disconnected the vacuum hose the brakes worked fine (with no boost!) but as soon as the booster was connected they were not releasing.
I researched the mysterious plate in the MC (plenty of duff...
I bought those door cards and was a bit worried how they would look when they arrived. They are fantastic, at least the black ones I got. Highly recommended if you are on the fence.
I have already removed the servo and nothing is dribbling out of the hose inlets when held upside down and generally being wiggled around……I have not tried to remove either of the two connectors.
Hello
So, have refilled the reservoir a couple of times. Not a drop of fluid on garage floor where the car spends 99% of its time. Inspected hoses - nothing obvious. Driver carpet dry, definitely not coming through from master cylinder (had that before). Tested the reservoirs (NADA 3500S) and...
I had this while fettling the shut, maybe not as bad but the button was inactive and the door was well shut. In the end with the button pressed and pulling hard upwards (a lot) on the handle while opening got it open by just getting a smidge of clearance. I was very relieved at that point.
Hello
Thanks very much for taking the time to look - I appreciate that. I just ordered one and I can ship it to family who can forward it on, probably stashed inside more surplus Xmas cake.....I googled the PN of the servo itself and was expecting to see a raft of different vehicles come up but...
Hello
I think, I thought that the reaction valve kit included the plastic plunger thing that goes inside the diaphram. It does not, so now I am left with two useless servos on my Federal 2000TC. I managed to scrape up one from a spare servo I had in a pile but I am missing the other. I could...
Correct mostly. Its Aptera that are manufactured, or strictly speaking prototyped here in Carlsbad.
Super observant types will spot a Triumph Herald in the background. Very rare.
I swapped coils from a Lucas to some local red thing that since went into the bin, without noticing the length of the connector to the distributor was longer. So the plug was not even contacting the coil despite everything looking quite wonderful from the outside. That wasted a lot of time…..
Ugh. It’s not the filter, removed it and tested and noise is the same. Listening to the pump outlet hose through a touching screwdriver to the ear it sounds like an enormous swarm of bees in there, irrespective of where the wheel is turned. Same screwdriver on the pump and box it’s a muffled...
Hmmm. PAS filter? What is this magical device of which you speak?
I had assumed, without looking too closely, the "filter" was more of a strainer and as such nothing that could be a troublemaker. The symptoms are consistent with too low a suction pressure so maybe this is a problem. I just...
The noise I can hear inside the cabin is right there at the steering wheel, for sure, but when standing outside you can't really hear anything. By touching the pump discharge hose you can feel all the vibration coming from inside or being transmitted along it. You can also feel the vibrations...
